At Alpen Art’s table, tradition is given a twist to create a true gourmet adventure. The chef draws inspiration from the best local produce – mountain and transalpine cheeses, Savoy diots and charcuterie, alpine herbs. Here, dining is more than just eating: rediscover fondue, taste the Alpen Burger with its mountain flavors, explore vegetarian dishes made with winter vegetables and pasta from our Italian neighbors, or savor a fine cut of meat – all worth far more than a simple après-ski stop.

Alpen Art is not just a place to eat, it’s a place to remember.
Val Thorens, a human adventure, almost a mountain epic — written by pioneers in the snow, in the heart of this untamed nature, at the foot of the peaks.
Alpen Art follows the path first traced on the slopes of Péclet. The soul of the place, Aurélie, walks in the footsteps of her guide, Camille. A child of the valley, he had a taste for sharing, for human adventure. He loved people from elsewhere — those who opened his horizons, those to whom he revealed his mountains. Alpen Art is that legacy: stories to share, filled with truth, simplicity, and the spirit of the heights.
And then, there is the rope team.
Julie, Damien, Hugo, and Loik, who bring the Alps back to life in the kitchen.
In the dining room, Joséphine, Bertrand and Elouane shine: with laughter, with glances, with that simple generosity that turns every meal into a moment of connection.
